Notate Productivity Suite is being deprecated and merged into Notate

Dear Notate Productivity Suite Purchaser,

Today we are excited to announce a new direction for Notate and the Notate Productivity Suite.  As of August 31, 2018, Notate Productivity Suite is deprecated and will no longer be maintained.  Your licenses will remain active and you may continue to use the product until the end of your subscription.

At the request of many of our customers we are taking a new direction for the Notate Productivity Suite.  All of the features of the Suite are being merged into the Notate application.  As an existing customer, you have access to this new application starting today.  Notate for BlackBerry version 6.0 is now available in the App Store.

Our goal in transitioning from 4 applications into 1 is to make it easier to deploy and manage the app, and easier to train users.  In addition to the existing functionality of the Notate Productivity Suite, the new application available to you today has these additional benefits:

  • Full support for PDF forms
  • Enhanced PDF signature support
  • Flatten PDFs when emailing so they can be viewed in BlackBerry Work
  • Business card scanning no longer requires an external licensing server

What this transition means to you:

  • Users that upgrade to Notate 6.0 will begin to see the Cards and Docs functionality in Notate.
  • Cards and Docs policies may now be managed in the Notate application policy on the Dynamics server
  • Existing Notate Productivity Apps may continue to be used and deployed until your subscription expires, however we encourage you to transition your users to using only Notate 6.0 app instead
  • Notate Docs will be removed from the app store starting September 1, 2018.  In order to deploy Docs to new users, the new users should be directed to the updated Notate 6.0 app instead

Notate 6.0 is on the way for Android, as well as for MobileIron, and Citrix.  Stay tuned for more announcements...

Best regards,

Notate Team
